By designer Ria McIlwraith, this is a promotional item for Papernation, a website selling print and ephemera. McIlwraith expanded on the existing identity by coming up with “the idea of using the PN as the grounds for a little paper city, where paper planes fly.”
The color palette and whimsy are a winner.
It has pineapples on it and it is amazing. Now I just have to learn how to play it… and tune it. Obviously a well thought out purchase.
New years resolution #1
Ok, so I know just about everyone has blogged about Matthew Lyons (with good reason) but on my internet adventure this morning I ended up reading about his process then looking on his site.

I had a visit from my cousins from Japan for the past few days. Did a lot of touristy things naturally but got to check out Sculpture by the Sea which I usually manage to miss each year. Here’s a couple random pics…
